For the past few years, we have been working on offices across the Netherlands from our base in Almelo.

As a company from Twente, we quickly grew into a national player in office design and realization. As a result, we found ourselves in Amsterdam more and more often—for projects, collaborations, and meetings with clients. At a certain point, the frequent drives to the capital stopped feeling like visits and became a part of our daily work. That is why, starting this July, we are opening our own office and showroom of over 1,100 m² in Amsterdam!
For us, this is more than just a new location. It marks the next step in the evolution of Skepp. Not only because it brings us closer to our clients and partners, but also because this place showcases where we stand as an organization today and where we are heading.
Anyone visiting our new location won't be stepping into a traditional showroom. We haven't built a space that looks sterile and where no one actually works. Quite the contrary.
The Amsterdam office is a working environment where our team gathers daily, develops ideas, and realizes projects. This is exactly why the space demonstrates what we believe in: that an office is much more than a collection of desks, meeting rooms, and square meters. A living lab.
A good work environment supports the way people collaborate, creates energy, and strengthens an organization's culture. That is what we design and for our clients every day, and that is exactly what visitors will soon be able to experience for themselves.
Close to the market, without losing our roots
Although Amsterdam has become an important growth region for us, our Twente roots remain a crucial part of who we are. Our down-to-earth way of working together, keeping promises, and focusing on results still form the foundation of our work.
This is precisely why this step feels so logical. We remain the same company, but we will soon be more accessible to clients, partners, and projects in the Randstad region. This makes collaboration easier and ensures we can pivot even faster during design and construction phases.
The opening of our Amsterdam location coincides with a development that has been visible within our organization for some time.
Where we used to be known primarily as an office furnisher, we now guide the entire trajectory of office development. From the initial strategic sessions and design to the structural realization and furnishing.
This development stems from a clear conviction. Too many office projects get stuck because responsibilities are scattered across different parties. An architect creates the design, a contractor translates it into practice, and suppliers fill in the final pieces. This regularly leads to delays, misunderstandings, and compromises.
We believe things can be done better. That is why we bring design, build, and furnishing together into one single team. This allows us to keep control of the process and guard the quality from the first idea to the final touch.
With the opening of our location in Amsterdam, we are not just adding square meters. We are creating a place where clients, partners, and connections can see how we view work environments and how a good office can contribute to the success of an organization.
