The Hijn School Group approached Skepp some time ago with the desire to truly connect. The fragmentation across multiple locations gave way to a clear ambition: to create an environment in IJsselstein where everyone can come together. One central place for the team. A place that not only functions well, but where joy at work and connection are tangible in every square meter.
The wish was clear: to create a place that feels like coming home. Not a sterile office environment, but a mix of functions and atmosphere. Think of an inviting work café, comfortable rooms for meetings, and flexible workspaces that offer calm. By choosing fresh colors and a practical layout, an open environment emerged where the team not only works, but is truly at the center.

We started from the existing situation. Instead of drastic demolition, we opted for smart reuse and a few interventions. By reconsidering the layout - from circulation routes to the entrance - we introduced a new logic to the space. The result is a balanced combination of existing floor sections and new materials. Solid walls were replaced with glass, allowing light and connection to take the lead.
The result? A work environment that simply works. The new layout makes encounters natural and strengthens internal connections, without losing sight of functionality. In short: an inspiring base where you don’t just come to work, but where you genuinely feel at home.
